Help get a heart to Babu

In October of 2020, my cousin Babu Bakthavatchalam (given name Boopalan) was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, a deadly disease that affects the heart’s ventricles and atria. This ailment causes the heart to enlarge and struggle to pump blood. He has a severe case causing both left and right ventricle dysfunction. Before he was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, my cousin was a hardworking man who was known by everyone to be kind and generous.

He is the sole breadwinner of his family and they rely on his farming for a living. We have tried all other possible treatments, and nothing has worked, leaving him in great pain and a terrible condition. Our last chance to save Babu’s life is a heart transplant. This procedure is quite risky but it is our final opportunity. Sadly, the family cannot afford such an expensive procedure.

We need your help to get him back on his feet to care for his wife Nandini, mother Savithri and two loving children, 12-year-old Priyadharshini and 10-year-old Prithish. We truly need your support and prayers to save him. Thank you for taking the time to read through our situation.
