After 2 long weeks, Gersson is finally home. He was admitted into the ER 2 weeks ago at Sutter Roseville. Two days later, he was transferred to California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco that is 2 hours away from home. After many tests, scans & blood draws the doctors figured out he has liver cancer and needs a liver replacement. The good news is he is on the list and now we wait for the big phone call.

It’s the beginning of a long and challenging journey. All treatments and transplant will be at the hospital in San Francisco.
