Help Gerry Continue His Fight for Recovery

Almost a year ago, my brother Gerry was in a devastating car accident that shattered his life and turned our family's world upside down. The severe Traumatic Brain Injury he sustained has left him in a state of diminished awareness, requiring constant care and intensive medical treatments.

We’re deeply grateful for the outpouring of support received through the initial fundraiser.

However, the road to recovery is long and difficult. My parents have shouldered an unimaginable burden, transforming their home into a makeshift hospital and dedicating every waking moment to his care. Their jobs hang in the balance as they alternate taking time off to transport him to and from multiple medical appointments and therapy each week, a grueling four-hour round-trip commute. They've even had to purchase a vehicle equipped to accommodate his needs.

The financial strain has been relentless. Every expense – from medical bills and specialized equipment to the constant travel and modifications – has fallen squarely on their shoulders.

Now, a glimmer of hope has emerged. Gerry’s medical team has recommended a groundbreaking combination of treatments that span from IV infusions, Stem Cell treatments, Neurofeedback therapy, additional Hyperbaric Treatments, and more. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover any of these treatments.

This presents a very real chance for him to emerge from his current state and make significant strides towards recovery. However, the cost is staggering – an additional $12,000 to $15,000 per month potentially.
