Help Geri's Snack Shack After A Fire

Lifetime Whidbey Island residents Gerry and Mike Downey need your help. Their local food truck Geri's Snack Shack at Bayview had a fire on the night of February 19th that severely damaged the inside of the food truck, they will be out of business for an extended period of time.

Thankfully no one was injured and the food truck is insured but Gerry and her employees will be without an income and will need to work on getting the business back up and running. I am sure there will be some out of pocket expenses that are not covered so hopefully we can help them through this very difficult and stressful time.

Anyone that knows the Downey's knows how generous and helpful they are to the community, the hard work they have put into this business and the affordable dining option they have given us. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A big thank you to the EMT's that discovered the fire, the South Whidbey Fire Department and Island County Sheriff's Office who helped discover and put out the fire.
