Help with legal fees for court

(A lot of you have been asking for more details and how all of this started so here are a lot more details below)
Dear Kind Supporters,
In January 2018, I was the victim of a serious assault occasioning actual bodily harm. What followed was a deeply flawed and mishandled police investigation by South Wales Police, leaving me without justice and facing further mistreatment and discrimination at their hands. I have been left with no alternative but to seek legal action against South Wales Police in court.
My vulnerability began much earlier, around 2017, when seeking safe housing through the local council. As a single individual (No children), I was directed to precarious living situations. Tragically, while attempting to secure housing, I was coerced into a meeting under false pretences. This led to a horrific assault, reported to South Wales Police, who mishandled my statement and denied me the opportunity to correct it.
Despite clearly communicating my vulnerable circumstances, South Wales Police failed to acknowledge the coercive nature of events and their own failings.
Beyond the initial inadequate investigation, I have endured years of profound discrimination and what I believe to be bullying by South Wales Police. My disabilities and vulnerabilities were disregarded and, I believe, exploited. Misinformation has circulated, leading to unwarranted hatred and mockery based on an untrue narrative.
My decision to pursue legal action is driven by the hope that the full truth will finally be brought to light in court – the crucial evidence overlooked or misrepresented by South Wales Police. I believe this will allow those who doubted my account to understand the injustices I have endured and dispel the falsehoods that have caused me immense harm.
For those questioning my words at the time of the assault, it's vital to understand the context of my upbringing and survival mechanisms. My expressions were not of affection but deeply ingrained responses developed within specific environments. The funds raised will help present the evidence of these coercive circumstances and cultural nuances, which were deliberately weaponised against me by the police, who disregarded established cultural norms within my church community where phrases like "I love you" are common and non-romantic.
Also it is always something me and my team say when sending out GSCOLLECTIONUK Birthday shoutouts (Sending you all our Love).
The very act of seeking justice has seemingly led to further detriment. I have been denied necessary treatment, experienced targeted harassment involving police sirens, and suffered violations of my privacy and security, including device hacking and a home break-in where I was taunted about calling the police asking, "Who would you call – the police?" This chilling question underscores the profound lack of trust and safety I feel and highlights the extreme lengths to which some may be going to intimidate me.
Despite an initial finding that a conviction should have been pursued, this was unlawfully overridden, denying me the justice I rightfully deserve by the officer I requested a removal from the case. My efforts through the police complaints system and the IOPC have been unsatisfactory.
Now, as a litigant in person without legal aid, I am compelled to undertake court proceedings to challenge these serious injustices and ensure a lawful review. The financial burden of court fees and legal advice is substantial.
Furthermore, the trauma of 2018 caused prolonged and debilitating health issues, including abnormal menstrual cycles for an extended periods lasting for approximately five weeks instead of the usual seven days, a further consequence of the damages sustained in 2018. It was only towards the end of 2024 that my menstrual cycle finally returned to a normal duration of approximately seven days, and I was regrettably refused timely and appropriate gynaecological care throughout this extended period of ill-health, which I believe was linked to the mistreatment by South Wales Police. This severely impacted my well-being, mobility, and ability to effectively pursue legal action for an extended period and ability to pursue justice.
Holding public authorities accountable is paramount. Your generous contribution will directly support:
• Essential court fees.
• Crucial legal guidance.
• Preparation and submission of detailed evidence, including the impact of discrimination, mistreatment, harassment, and security breaches on my health and well-being.
Every donation, no matter the size, will bring me closer to a fair hearing and the justice I have been denied for too long. I am committed to pursuing this with utmost diligence and will share updates with all supporters.
GSCOLLECTIONUK will be temporarily closed as I focus on this crucial fight.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering my plea. Your kindness will make a tangible difference in my fight for justice, healing, and safety.
Many Thanks,
Gerardine
