My name is Rosmery, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. I’m raising $15,000 (approx. 806 USD) to cover funeral and cremation expenses for Gerarda, an 89-year-old woman in Tijuana, Mexico, who is currently on hospice care at home. Her health is rapidly declining, and her family is not financially prepared for what’s to come.
A few months ago, Gerarda tragically fell in her bedroom, breaking part of her lumbar sacrum. Since then, she’s been bedridden for over four months, enduring unimaginable pain and hardship. Just this past week, she suffered a cardiovascular embolism that worsened her condition dramatically. Doctors have confirmed there is nothing more that can be done — she is now receiving end-of-life care at home.
Her daughter sent me a message that pierced my soul. Between the lines, her words cried out:
“For the love of God, help me.”
This is more than a request — it's a plea for mercy during one of the most difficult moments a family can face. Gerarda’s daughter is doing everything she can to care for her mother with love and dignity, but they simply do not have the resources to give her the final farewell she deserves.
We are seeking to raise $15,000 pesos (approx. $806 USD) to cover:
Cremation services
A modest viewing so family and friends can say goodbye
Transportation and funeral home costs
Every single dollar helps. Your kindness will give this woman the peace and dignity she deserves — and will ease the burden on a daughter who has already suffered so much.
Please donate if you can. Share if you can’t. Pray if nothing else.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
