Help Gerald Bowers Through Medical Hardships

My name is Gerald Bowers. Most of you have known me for a pretty long time. Probably the most embarrassing thing I've ever done, but here goes.

I've fallen on some pretty hard times. I've been out of my job for 6 weeks now due to a damaged shoulder. Last year, I went through a stroke in my left eye, three eye surgeries, my first case of COVID, and then ended up with a total hip replacement. Funny as I said, 25 got to be better. I'm fundraising because I was forced to leave my job at Lowe's where I've been for 3 years. I work for Ace Hardware in Eustis in good standing. That's the downtown store on Orange Avenue. My daddy used to take me in there when I was 5, 6 years old.

I've gone through all of my savings and I'm looking at at least four more weeks before I can even think about returning to work. The official word from my doctor today is that I have a small tear and severe conversion in my left shoulder. He also informed me that I got something on my pancreas. I'm not concerned about that right now. I need help covering my basic bills. Not all of them because I still get my Social Security check; it just doesn't go far enough. I've turned off all my luxury items. When I say that, I mean YouTube TV and Sirius in my truck, which I've had for 10 years.

I've been in tight spots before and I'm known as a survivor. Never medical like this and not when I was 67. If anybody feels trustworthy enough to help me, I will be highly grateful. One of my school teachers is sponsoring me, or I believe she did, but I'm not sure if she posted it. It appeared she did and I just didn't get back to it. I wanted to wait till I knew everything.
