We are the Mount Airy Ukulele Invasion (MAUI), and George Smith is our leader. But, George is much more than just our music teacher. Whether he is raising spirits in a retirement community or gigging at a local hotspot, George brings kindness and joy to every project. He is selfless and kind, and he touches peoples' hearts. Now, MAUI asks for your help to support George!

His extra-large heart required emergency surgery called a cath procedure to insert a narrow tube called a "Stint," which holds open the blood vessel. At that time, the cardiologist learned that two additional blockages would require a second procedure on August 11th. As of August 11th, doctors could only successfully reduce one of these blockages by 80-70%. George and his family now face additional heart procedures and MAUI is asking for your donation. George would probably say it like this, "Do what you can if you're able."
