Our family is heartbroken by the unexpected loss of our beloved George. George had been battling organ failure and was in need of transplants. Before any of those transplants could happen, George became extremely ill, and despite every effort to save him, he passed away. This has been an incredibly painful and overwhelming time for our family, and we are beyond devastated. George was such an important part of our lives, and the weight of this loss is something we are still trying to process each day.
Along with the grief of losing George, our family is now facing the unexpected expenses that come with saying goodbye to someone we love so deeply. This fundraiser will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as help his elderly parents transition through this difficult time, as George was their caregiver and they are unable to work, along with any other financial burdens our family is carrying during this difficult time. As George's fight progressed, it became very difficult for him to manage even the simplest daily tasks, including his finances. Even with help, our family was unable to access his bank accounts or credit cards to make needed payments, and we also learned that his life insurance had been terminated. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean more to us than we can express and would help our family focus on grieving and honoring George's life instead of worrying about finances.
