Help George Ward (Buster) Get Through His Stroke
Donation protected
In early January 2022, my daddy, George Ward (Buster), suffered trauma to his neck, which caused a carotid artery dissection. This resulted in a massive stroke. This stroke affected the entire right side of his body and has severely limited his ability to move and speak.
He was taken to Northeast GA Medical Center, where he stayed for three weeks and then was transported to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, where he remained until March 24th. On March 28th, he started an eight-week outpatient program at Shepherd Pathways in Decatur, GA.
My mom, Ann Ward, has had to go on Family Medical Leave without pay from her work since this has happened. My dad cannot be left alone and has to have assistance at all times.
My daddy has always been a hard-working, self-employed plumber, which he learned from his father. He is also a Pastor who sings and plays the guitar. He is the kind of man that will give you the shirt off his back if you need it. My mom is a hard worker and kind soul, too.
As of right now, they have no income or financial assistance coming in. They used to have two incomes, but now have none. They still have their usual bills to pay and now are starting to receive big medical bills, too. I do not want to see them lose everything they’ve worked so hard for, especially with them both being close to retirement. If you can and would like to help them out, please donate. We appreciate any financial help we can get for them. Thank you in advance for your help. God Bless You All!
