My son is Spenser and his girlfriend, Jessica, who are the loving parents of George Frederick Nickel Fish Johnson, a 3-year-old French bulldog.
On Tuesday, the 17th of June, George’s hind legs became paralyzed. After an emergency trip to the vet, he was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). Due to his paralysis, he has no use of his hind legs, has trouble urinating and is on strict crate confinement with medications.
The next step is an MRI. The best treatment for George is neurosurgery, which will cost $20,000 including the MRI cost. This is quite a bit of money. They can afford to pay some of that amount, but we are looking for help with $5,000 to cover the cost of the MRI.
George is a young spunky boy, a good candidate for surgery and we want him to recover. He has minimal sensation in his legs and cannot walk.
Please help George with whatever you could donate and help us get our boy walking again.
Thanks to all of you. We really appreciate you making this possible.
Sincerely,
