George is a little orange lovebug with short, stubby legs that aren’t always the best for jumping. One day, he injured himself and developed an abscess on his belly. Before I could get him to the vet, the abscess burst on its own, leaving a deep laceration that extended all the way to his back leg. It was scary and stressful, but thankfully, George made it through laceration repair surgery. While he had a little setback after his incision reopened following his suture removal, he's been recovering well ever since.

Unfortunately, the timing couldn’t have been worse. The costs for George’s surgery added up quickly, right as I was hit with a catastrophic car repair. Just two days after getting my car back, it suffered a blown head gasket, making things even more overwhelming. I want nothing more than to continue caring for my precious boy the way he deserves, but these unexpected expenses have made it incredibly difficult to keep up.
