At just 47 years old, George received the devastating news that she has stage 4 colorectal (bowel) cancer — a diagnosis that came out of nowhere. With almost no symptoms beforehand, it was a complete shock to her and her loved ones, especially after losing her mum to cancer at only 51. 

 Since then, George has bravely faced surgery, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and immunotherapy — enduring countless side effects with incredible strength and grace. But despite everything she’s been through, she continues to fight. 

 There is now hope on the horizon. In Germany, advanced treatments such as dendritic cell therapy — which harnesses the body’s own immune system to fight cancer — are showing promising results. 

Unfortunately, these treatments aren’t yet available in Australia and come with a significant cost. Every donation will go directly toward funding George’s treatment in Germany, giving her and her family renewed hope for the future.
