My name is Liyah, and I’m reaching out for help for my cat George, who is only four years old. Lately, George has been scratching himself nonstop, to the point where he’s leaving open wounds on his body. I’ve checked for fleas and ruled them out, but I’m worried something more serious is going on. As much as I want to get him the care he needs, I simply can’t afford a vet visit right now. I’m currently searching for a new apartment as a broke 19-year-old, and the costs of moving and daily life have left me with nothing extra for emergencies like this.

George means the world to me, and it breaks my heart to see him in pain. I also have two other cats who are due for their check-ups, and I want to make sure they’re healthy too. Every dollar raised will go directly toward George’s check-up, any vet visits, and the treatment he needs to heal. I’ll also use the support to get check-ups for my other two cats, so they can stay healthy and happy.

I feel like I’ve failed as an owner, but life is just hard right now and I didn’t expect to have to move out so quickly. Any help or support means the world to me and my cats.
