My dad, George, has been in and out of the hospital for months with recurring infections, falls, and confusion. Yesterday he fell out of bed and ended up back in the ER with a new UTI. The hospital wants to send him home, but it’s not safe. He needs more care than I can provide alone. I’m at my limit after months of 24/7 caregiving while sick myself. We’re trying to get him into a short-term rehab facility for 1–2 weeks so he can get stronger, heal properly, and come home for good. Dad's Medicare days are exhausted, so we’ll have to pay privately. Any help, as little as $5, means the world. It’s not just about money. It’s about giving Dad the chance to get better and giving me the chance to keep being his son, not just his nurse.
