If you do not know me, my name is George. In 2025 I separated from my job of 4½ years, and since then my life has changed dramatically. With my savings completely exhausted, I now find myself in a situation I never expected. My rent is past due, and I am facing an eviction hearing on February 5th. Additionally my Jeep Liberty needs repairs and updated tags (Dec.), but I simply do not have the funds to take care of these urgent needs.
Receiving support right now would mean everything to me: it would help me avoid eviction (and potential homelessness), and allow me to catch up on rent so I can stay in my home. Getting my vehicle repaired and back on the road would give me the chance to expand my search for new opportunities and regain some stability in my life.
I have always tried to handle things on my own, but I am at a point where I need to reach out and ask for help. Reluctance born of pride and embarrassment have kept me from asking for help until now.
