My name is George Gulas, and I am reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. I am 77 years old and recently underwent a total hip replacement just 13 weeks ago. While I have been recovering, my bills and rent have gone above my means, and I haven’t been able to make ends meet. As a result, my rent hasn’t been paid for almost four months, and with late fees, the amount I owe has reached $10,000. My landlord is supposed to put a notice on my door Monday, and I am terrified because I have no place to go.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering my overdue rent and late fees, helping me avoid eviction and giving me a chance to get back on my feet. This support would relieve so much of the misery and stress I am feeling right now, especially as I continue to heal from surgery. I am doing my best, but I simply cannot do this alone.
