HELP GEORGE – A BRITISH HERO LEFT BEHIND
Donation protected
This is George – a 35-year-old ex-Para who served his country with pride, including time in Afghanistan trying to help those now being sheltered by our government.
When he got back to Bracknell, he just wanted a simple life. But like many veterans, he was left to fight his own demons – trauma, addiction, and heartbreak. His long-term relationship broke down and he lost his home.
While 300 Afghan refugees were given shelter in a 4-star hotel in Bracknell (which George himself helped to liberate years ago), George was left sofa-surfing and eventually moved in with his mum, after the local council failed to help him.
I’m an ex-soldier myself. I saw his story and tracked him down less than 24 hours with the help of my friend Del. I’ve now established comms with George and I’m starting this GoFundMe to get this lad back on his feet.
George doesn’t resent the Afghans being helped, he said “They deserve help and respect” but what about our own?
If you believe no British veteran should be left homeless after serving our flag, please chip in whatever you can.
Let’s get George his life back. He served us. Now it’s our turn to serve him.
Respect & Thanks.
