Hi Everyone. My father, Georg Larsen, was tragically hit by a trailer truck without headlights after sunset on January 12th while crossing a road. He is currently in the Trauma ICU at Sakhon Nakhon Public Hospital, fighting for his life. Georg has suffered multiple injuries, including broken bones in his legs, pelvis, left arm, and ribs, as well as a lacerated spleen and brain hemorrhages. The most pressing concern is that he is not breathing on his own and has remained unresponsive since the accident.

I have been covering all medical expenses since the accident, which have already exceeded 200,000 THB. The hospital requires payment of invoices every three days, and I am quickly running out of funds.

Despite these expenses, I am worried that Georg is not receiving the level of care necessary for a full and speedy recovery. The neurologist assigned to his case is overwhelmed and difficult to reach, forcing us to seek his insights at his private practice. This has left us uncertain about Georg's current state, potential medical interventions, and future plans.

Delays from the insurance company have further jeopardized his health outcomes.

None of the parties involved with the truck have accepted responsibility or offered assistance with hospital bills. We have sought legal help, but they advise waiting for the final police report. Preliminary indications suggest shared responsibility, which is shocking given the truck's lack of headlights after sunset.

My resources are depleting, and my wife is devastated at the thought of what might happen to Georg if we cannot continue his care.
