My little Yorky cross, Geordie, has been my loyal companion since I rescued him about four years ago. He’s become such a big part of my life, bringing me comfort and joy every day. Recently, Geordie suffered a badly broken femur, and the news from the vet was heartbreaking. The surgery he needs is far beyond what I can afford as an 81-year-old senior living on a fixed income. While I am able to contribute a little myself, the total cost is simply out of my reach.

Geordie means the world to me, and I want nothing more than to see him healthy and happy again.
