Hello, my name is Geoffrey, and I’m asking for your support as I try to recover after surviving a violent assault that has left me with serious, life-changing injuries — and deeply traumatized my son, who witnessed the entire attack.
On November 23, 2025, I was attacked from behind and above with a blunt object and beaten. This was not an accident or a misunderstanding — it was a violent, unprovoked assault. The medical findings and police report confirm this. I suffered:
Tinnitus in my right ear
Significant hearing loss in my right ear
A contusion to the back of my skull
Multiple contusions on my left side — ribs, knee, thigh, and calf
Trauma consistent with being knocked down from behind and beaten
This attack was classified by police as Assault With a Deadly Weapon (PC 245(a)(1)), and evidence was collected, including a metal bat.
My Son Saw Everything
One of the most devastating parts of this incident is that my son witnessed the entire assault. No child should ever have to see their parent violently attacked. The fear and shock he experienced that day still affect him, and I am doing everything I can to support him while also trying to heal myself.
How This Has Affected Our Lives
Since the assault, I’ve been dealing with severe pain, neurological symptoms, and permanent hearing loss. Everyday tasks have become difficult. I’ve missed work, medical bills continue to grow, and I am also trying to get emotional support for my son.
This situation has turned our lives upside down, and the stress of trying to recover while caring for him has been overwhelming.
Why I’m Asking for Help
I am raising funds to cover:
Medical bills and ongoing treatment
Specialist visits for hearing loss and neurological care
Therapy and mental health support for both me and my son
Anything you can contribute will help us stabilize, heal, and move forward after something no family should ever have to endure.
How You Can Help
If you’re able to donate, share, or simply leave a message of support, it truly means the world to us. I’m grateful to be alive — now I just want to rebuild and help my son feel safe again.
Thank you for reading our story and for supporting my family during this difficult time.
— Geoffrey
