Greetings,

I’m excited to share that I have committed to travel to São Paulo, Brazil in early 2026 for a mission trip with a group of gentlemen from Main Street Baptist Church. In partnership with a small team from another local church, we will be helping build a discipleship house for a church in São Paulo.

To be honest, this trip wasn’t on my radar at all. But when the opportunity arose—and after much prayer and reflection—it became clear that I was being called to go and help make a positive impact.

This journey will no doubt be physically demanding, yet I know it will be spiritually fulfilling for many who will one day seek refuge in this new house and hear the Gospel shared there. While I have participated in mission trips before, this will be my first international mission, and I’m both humbled and eager to serve where God is leading.

Because this opportunity came unexpectedly and the trip is approaching soon, I am seeking sponsorship to help make it possible. Whatever amount you are able to contribute will directly support the mission and make a meaningful difference for God’s Kingdom.

My prayer is that through this trip—and through the work we accomplish—the people of São Paulo will be strengthened and encouraged in their faith. While you may not be joining me physically, please know that I will carry a part of each supporter with me on this journey.

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and support as I prepare to go where I am called.

With gratitude and faith,

Geoff Besecker
