Geo is a resilient 74-year-old individual who has been battling a rare form of leukemia known as Philadelphia Chromosome. Geo has been undergoing treatment with Ponatinib, a medication used to combat this aggressive cancer. Unfortunately, this treatment has taken a toll on his arteries and heart, leading to severe complications. The doctors have recommended a switch to a new medication, Disatinib (Sprycel), which offers hope for his recovery. However, this medication comes with a substantial cost, including a monthly deductible of $2,580.
