Gentry is my gentle, loving 2-year-old Russian blue cat, and part of a colony of 15 cats who live on my property. He spends his days lounging with his fur family, bringing warmth and joy to everyone around him. Gentry is a special soul, and his presence is a comfort to me and the other animals I care for.

Recently, Gentry fell ill very suddenly and was hospitalized for a once fatal infection. I always try to keep a little money saved for emergencies, but the cost of his care has been overwhelming. I paid a deposit for his treatment, but the total bill for his hospitalization is much higher than I ever expected. On top of this, I recently learned I have to pay a large sum to the IRS, which has put an even greater strain on my finances.

I am reaching out for help so I can continue to care for Gentry and the rest of my animal family. The funds raised will go directly toward Gentry's veterinary bills, his ongoing care, and the needs of the other cats and dogs who depend on me.
