Hi, my fun loving, smart, beautiful bestie broke her hip last night. If you know her and don't know what happened yet we just haven't had time to call and tell you. She was in Sacramento on vacation with our joint dear friend and someone twice her size fell on her breaking her hip. She was unable to get up and an ambulance came and took her to the local hospital in Sacramento. After x-rays were done it was found she had a broken hip. She went into surgery at 4:00pm, Saturday the 25th. The average hospital stay ranges anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks. We won't know until after surgery. The recovery time is 3 months for the bone to heal alone. That means she will be unable to go to work. She will be recovering for at least 3 months and will have to do physical therapy for many months following. Full recovery is a 6-9 month process. We need help raising money to cover some of her medical bills and her living expenses while she heals and is out of work.
