Hello, friends, I’d appreciate any help you can give until I can get back to work in a few days!
My doctor said I’d need just one week off of work, however she had to put a surgical drain in last Thursday. In order to remove it, the drain output must be less than 30 ml/24 hours for two days in a row. It has been decreasing. Yesterday I was close but not there yet. If I’m active, and move my left arm, then fluid output increases - which delays healing. I’m impatient to get back to work, and definitely need the money, but I absolutely don’t want complications with my healing from surgery.
If she will not remove the drain today, I won’t be able to go to work Saturday and Sunday as scheduled. Even if the output is low enough this weekend, her office will be closed.
I wish I didn’t have to ask for help. But I am very very thankful for any help you can give!
