Genevieve was born on October 10th, 2025, and has been in the NICU since birth due to Pierre Robin Sequence—a condition we were unaware of until she arrived. The hospital has recommended an invasive surgery, but after much research and advocacy, we found a specialized program in California that offers a less invasive alternative. This program uses a custom retainer to help close her cleft palate and promote natural jaw growth, potentially sparing her from lifelong complications and additional surgeries.
The costs have quickly become overwhelming. NICU care and the possibility of a medical flight to California have created a heavy financial burden for our family. All funds raised will go directly toward her medical bills and, if needed, the cost of her transfer to California so she can receive the care she needs.
This pregnancy seemed typical until delivery, when my wife experienced severe complications and required emergency care. Despite her own recovery, she has missed only one day at the hospital, always by Genevieve’s side. Our four other daughters are heartbroken that their little sister cannot come home yet, even though she has met every goal set by her doctors. The program in California is our last great hope to avoid unnecessary surgery and give Genevieve the best possible start in life. Any support you can offer will help ease the financial burden and bring us closer to having our family together at home. Thank you for considering a gift to help our precious daughter—she deserves every chance at a healthy, happy future.
