Help Genevieve Gain Mobility in Honor of Her Father, John Roy

On October 13, 2025, our family lost a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend — John Roy. John was a man known for his deep love, selflessness, and unwavering care for others. Even in his final wishes, his heart remained focused on helping those he loved most.

In lieu of flowers, John asked that all donations be made to support his daughter, Genevieve Holmes, who is living with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). ALS has made everyday movement and independence increasingly difficult for Genevieve. One of her greatest current needs is a wheelchair-accessible van, which would allow her to travel safely to medical appointments, family gatherings, and simply enjoy the freedom that so many of us take for granted.

John’s wish was clear — he wanted his legacy of love to continue through helping his daughter live with greater ease and dignity. By contributing to this fund, you are honoring John’s life and ensuring that Genevieve can experience the independence and connection her father wanted for her.
