My name is Sharon I’m a friend of Genevieve and Kai’s (mother and son) and this is their story about a sweet dog they found that needed medical care. They jumped to action without hesitation knowing money would be an issue:

A few nights ago, I found a sweet dog wandering alone near my neighborhood. She had no collar, no microchip and no one has come forward to claim her. That night I brought her into my yard to keep her safe while I went to work and made several posts on social media in an attempt to search for her family.

The next morning she became very lethargic and started vomiting, so I rushed her to the animal hospital. After several tests, we thankfully found out her diagnosis is roundworms and Giardia- both treatable conditions! She has already started treatment, but the vet bills from testing, exams, and medication added up quickly.

This pup is so gentle and trusting despite what she’s been through, and she deserves the chance to fully recover and hopefully be reunited with her family (or

stay with us no one comes forward.)
