Dear Genesis Yoga and Wellness family,

 

With a heavy and sad heart, we are writing to inform you that our beloved Rene David passed on March 10 after a brave and heroic battle with liver cancer.

 

He was the guiding light and energy of the Genesis Yoga and Wellness Center.

 

In addition, to the untimely loss of our extraordinary leader, we are unfortunately dealing with the decrease in Yoga attendance due to the two-plus years of covid restrictions.

 

Consequently, our unique center has been experiencing many financial struggles.

 

Please consider donating to our Go Fund Me page if you had the pleasure of meeting or working with Rene David, took a yoga class, or were treated by any outstanding healing practitioners.

 

We hope to raise $25,000, 50% of our operating expenses, to keep the center running for the next six months with your generous support.

 

Here at the studio, we are all working toward meeting our expenses, so we don't have close our doors

 

Any amount will be greatly appreciated!

 

As a way of saying thanks, we will be offering some incentives, such as:

 

$50 will get one free yoga class or a 45-minute foot reflexology session with Tom.

 

$100 will get an examination and consultation with our Chiropractor Dr. Mitch, or our Physical Therapist Dr. Dan.

 

Now that in-person restrictions are over, we will be adding more yoga and meditation classes and some day-long weekend workshops in yoga Nidra and foot reflexology.

 

We are excited about revitalizing our yoga and wellness community, especially in these most stressful, strange, and anxious times.

 

A yoga class in our beautiful healing studio is the perfect remedy for the body, mind, and soul!

 

Please do whatever you can to keep Rene David’s shining light going.

 

He survived the Holocaust as a child.

 

He beat covid quickly and without any severe complications.

 

He was the most energetic 80-year-old man. We all miss him dearly!
