Genesis came into my life as a puppy at a time when I needed her most. After becoming disabled and unable to work, I was searching for hope and companionship, and Genesis became the beginning of my new story. She has been by my side through every challenge, offering comfort and unconditional love when I needed it most.

Recently, I noticed a growth on Genesis that began to agitate her. I took her to the CSU team here in Fort Collins, where they ran tests and discovered it was cancer. Thankfully, the cancer has not spread and is contained to one area. The doctors have given me hope, but the cost of surgery and the medications Genesis will need for her recovery is more than I can manage on my own.
