Help Genesis Church Build Community Kitchens in Lima

Genesis Church is going to Peru!

We invite you to come alongside our team of men and women to help us get to Peru in August of 2025. The project is called Olla Comun!

Our team will be working with a local organization called Mission Co, which has mission operations here in Pittsburgh and Lima, Peru. We will be partnering with Mission Co. and their in-country missionaries to help them achieve their goal of building local food kitchens in the outskirts of Lima. This partnership will enable us to collaborate with local churches that can provide children's programming and minister to the parents of these children.

The local kitchen in these communities serves as a central gathering place and a daily refuge for its members. Many individuals in these communities do not have access to a full kitchen in their own homes, so they are dependent on the community kitchens we aim to help and improve. Mission Co. has been working in these communities for years, so it is exciting that our church has the opportunity to work alongside them and earn the right to share the Gospel with the members of these community kitchens.

Our team will be participating in construction projects, Vacation Bible School events, and church ministry!
