On February 12, 2025, Gene White, a dedicated construction worker with over 40 years of experience, was involved in a serious auto accident. While attempting to make a left turn at an intersection with limited visibility, his work truck was t-boned by an oncoming vehicle. Although the outcome could have been much worse, Gene sustained a fractured C2 (neck), 2 broken ribs, and 2 large head lacerations. He is currently hospitalized and facing a long and challenging recovery.

Due to the severity of his injuries, Gene will be out of work for at least 12 weeks and may never be able to return to his physically demanding career. As a self-employed individual with limited health insurance, the medical bills are already becoming overwhelming. Without the ability to work, Gene is struggling to cover both his medical and living expenses.

Gene has spent his life helping others, whether it's offering a hand to a neighbor or sharing his vast knowledge with others in the construction industry. Now, he needs help from the community he has always supported.
