Help Gene while he heals

Gene suffered a severe stroke last weekend. Luckily he was able to call 911 and was treated quickly. He had to have emergency surgery where they removed blood clots from his brain and neck.

 

While he is making a decent recovery, he has a very long and difficult road ahead of him. At this time, he is unable to move his right arm and has very little movement in his right leg. This means he will be unable to work for an unforeseen amount of time.

 

He is currently in the hospital and finally able to eat on his own! His speech is improving and he is thinking clearly, with a few bumps in the road here and there.

 

Our next step is to get him into a rehabilitation facility where he can be worked with for four hours a day. This is his best chance at regaining some mobility.

 

As you can imagine, medical bills will be piling up. His other bills such as rent (for when he can return home) his health insurance, vehicle payments, and more… will be due before we know it. Any little bit helps!
