This is Gene & Leona Reams Health Food Store and Garages burning in Iola, KS on April 8th 2021. Leona is my mother-in-law and Barry's Mother. Leona is 83 yrs old and Gene is 78 I think. The health food store name is Harmony Health in Iola, Kansas.
Leona was raised in Iola and moved back here from California several years ago to be near her elderly parents Mae and Merrill Truster.

Leona and Gene's car was in the garage that burned. It only had 500 miles on it. It however, was insured. The fire departments who responded, were able to save the adjoining house where they reside.

Leona has been selling supplements for many years, starting around 1972. She and Gene had an extensive inventory in their store (including the stock already ordered for May) which the majority of it burned up or is no longer sellable due to possible contamination. The store and garages will all need to be tore down, site cleaned up and completely rebuilt. All stock re-purchased and set up. So, no income until this is all done. The problem is....no income = no money to pay for help cleaning up and rebuilding/restocking the business.

Please consider helping them get back on their feet. They had no insurance due to extremely difficult financial times, as 2020 was hard on all of us, but if you can, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, take a few minutes and pray for them. And, if possible, consider helping them out. They are in dire need and need help ASAP.
These two are the sweetest people and care deeply about others. They would be so very grateful for any and all help received.
