Hello Friends, Family, and Crewmates
Eugene “Gene” Chandler is facing one of the hardest seasons of his life. This past winter solstice, Gene lost his beloved wife, Kathy. While grieving her passing, he has also been left to untangle the practical realities of life without her—something no one is ever truly prepared to do while mourning.
Kathy’s Social Security income was the primary source that covered their rent and utilities. Without it, Gene is now at risk of losing the home they shared together. At this moment, $7,300 is urgently needed to cover his rent and prevent eviction.
Friends and loved ones are working to help Gene secure longer-term assistance and stability for the future. But right now, immediate financial support is what he needs most. Even a small donation—$10 or any amount you’re able to give—will make a real difference and help ease this overwhelming burden during an already painful time.
All funds raised will go directly to Gene to ensure his housing remains secure. If you’re able to donate or share this fundraiser, your kindness and compassion will mean more than words can express.
Thank you for helping Gene stay in his home and reminding him that he is not alone.
