Help Gene Fight Cancer

On June 27, Gene went to the ER for persisting headaches and feeling unwell. Testing revealed 2 masses on his brain. Further workup subsequently determined that he had Stage 4 Lung cancer with mets to his spine, brain and ribs. Gene has no known risk factors for this disease. He has been undergoing radiation and discussing further treatment options.

Gene is 45 years old. He is married to Carla and between them they have 3 beautiful sons. Jhonatan is 20, Caleb is 12 and Seth is 14.  Gene is a local business owner. Carla and Gene's Mother, Lynn have been tirelessly supporting the family.

Unfortunately, Gene's insurance is not going to cover his treatments and care from diagnosis forward. While he is trying to get a different insurance that will provide coverage, if he is able to enroll in another plan, this will be at least 30 days for it to start and still will not cover much of the costs. 

Gene is a wonderful man with a beautiful family, contributing to society and his community. He has a deep faith in God and carries with him honesty and humility through his life. We are praying that we can raise enough money that he can fight this disease while taking off some of the financial stress that has come along with this diagnosis.
