Hi I'm Gena. I've just been diagnosed with Cancer, Stage 3A Squamouse NonSmall Cell Carcinoma. I am also requesting help to live in my home. Because Mold testing, shows the house as unlivable ,we think my cancer might be linked.

I was sick all summer, seeing doctors could not pinpoint why I was so sick. My husband had an air quality test done. Came back “unlivable” There is major mold in the basement. this house is over 300 years old, family property for the same number of years. They estimate the clean-up to cost about $25,000.00 to $30,000.00. Insurance won’t pay anything. We hope we can find an RV trailer to live in while fixing the house, we live in Maine.

Once I was out of the house, things started getting better, I finally found out what is wrong. I have Stage 3A Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Usually skin cancer that metastases as lung cancer and then into the lymph nodes. based on what I've found out about it, I have both. Treatment starts 1.20.22, & begins with 5 days a week, Radiation. Once a week IV Chemo treatment, for 6 weeks. Cancer, treatment to live will cost who knows how much $$$$$, I have insurance, 20% my cost. I’m asking for help to live longer.

It’s tough asking for help. I don’t usually ask, I’m the one that’s giving it.

Please give me a hand with the crazy, unpredictable bills.
