Gena is a single parent of two who was just diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma, a form of breast cancer, on March 17. This breast cancer diagnosis devastated Gena and has turned her world upside down. Gena works hard to provide for her family and must prepare for being out of work on disability for an extended amount of time. With the help of her doctors, Gena is determining the best treatment plan for her diagnosis. At the moment, she knows she will have to cover a 5k insurance deductible and will need to secure care for her two children and in-home care while she is recovering from chemo and surgery(surgeries).
