Help Gemma Get The Best Care

This GoFundMe is held for Gemma. A loving best friend to all, protector to her little sister Lily, role model for her dog brother Maui and not only a dog, but a very special family member in our family. Gemma has stolen the heart of each person she's met! From playing her favorite game of fetch for hours on end, swimming in pools and lakes and learning new unique tricks to cuddling up on the couch with Lisa, Armando and Lily for lazy morning naps, teaching her brother Maui how to have fun and always keeping an eye on Lily since the day she was born. At only two years old, Gemma has shown Lily the unconditional love that a dog gives their best friend. Gemma has always proven to all of us how strong she is, but is fighting a battle, now, that is tougher than her typical tug of war. Unfortunately, Gemma has been diagnosed with bone cancer in her leg. With this, an amputation is needed, along with 6 or more rounds of chemo. A CAT scan to determine if the cancer has spread will be done, and we all hope and pray that it is not the case. Gemma's best care would consist of an amputation, Fido Cure, a holistic veterinarian, and rehabilitation-- the cost of each reaching thousands of dollars. Appreciating everything Gemma has done for us, we want to give our all to her this time. Not only has she shown us how much fun a dog can have, but she has also shown us her endless love and effort to make someone smile.
