My name is Abby and I am trying to raise funds for my cat Gemini for gallbladder surgery.

She is my baby. Gemi has been with me since she was 4/5 weeks old and needed to be bottle-fed. She was found during a really bad storm and was just a little drowned rat.

Gemini has always been very healthy for the past 11 years, and then suddenly I came home to her very jaundiced. She was hospitalized for 5 days and after already putting $6,000+ towards her care, I was told she needs surgery for a blocked bile duct and it will be an additional $7,000-10,000, on top of the $6,000+.

My husband has been out of work and in & out of the hospital all of June and half of July and was unable to work. I do not have any more funds to go towards her care.

Gemini has not been acting sick at all during this whole time; the vets are very surprised at how she is acting and how voracious her appetite is. If it wasn't for her being yellow and, of course, her labs, you would not have any idea anything was wrong. I do not want money to be the only reason I am unable to provide care and give Gemi the ability to live to her golden years.
