As a group of six high school students at GCA in Calhoun, GA, we are coming together for a school project that is close to our hearts. We all share a deep love for animals, and we want to make a real difference for the pets at the Gordon County Animal Shelter. Many of these animals are waiting for their forever homes, and we want to help make their stay as comfortable and happy as possible.

We’ve learned that the shelter is always in need of dog beds, food, and toys—especially during the cold weather and for animals who have to stay for a long time. It’s hard to imagine how tough it must be for them without the basics that make life a little easier and more joyful. That’s why we’re raising funds to buy beds, food, and toys to help the shelter provide better care and comfort for every animal.
