Help Gayle Win her fight against cancer.

My name is Duane R. Perry.

 

We’re sending out a call of help for an AMAZING WOMAN who has given her ABSOLUTE best to all whom she's encountered. She's been known by the many roles she's played in the lives of all who are fortunate to have experienced her thus far.

 

She's been "Nurse Perry" to the myriad of patients & doctors she's served on the front lines with during her 37 yr nursing career.

 

To the countless lives she's blessed through her faith journey feeding the hungry at shelters & visiting & sharing the love of God & to the incarcerated youth & adults for over 20 yrs she's been "Elder Gayle."

 

To her 15 grandchildren & 4 (soon to be 5) great grandchildren she's affectionately known as "Nan." To her husband of 39 years she's always been 'Bae'. And my 4 siblings & I affectionately call her Mom (and occasionally 'The General' because she's always has figured how to get things done).

 

If you haven’t had the privilege of encountering her yet, you are in for a treat when you do! And we're asking for your help in this fight so that you too ,hopefully, can experience this incredible woman.

 

 

In 2016, our mother, Gayle Jean Perry, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Because of her extensive medical experience & having lovingly nurtured & tended to her mother & brother who both lost their respective fights to the blight that is cancer, she opted not to go the traditional route of radiation & chemo-therapy. Instead, after much consideration & research, she dived headfirst into a plant-based lifestyle.

 

Despite her & our dad living on a limited income, they ultimately spent thousand’s of dollars on vitamins, natural whole organic foods, and supplements that would eventually help her tumor become so small it was undetectable by touch or scan.

 

Fast forward 4 years, when one day while getting undressed, mom noticed the area where the mass used to be was a little more raised and warm to the touch. She promptly made an appointment to see her doctor and underwent a PET Scan. The doctor confirmed that the breast cancer had returned. Near the same time, she noticed a red burning irritation on her face that eventually spread to her entire body. After a couple of weeks, it seemed as if her skin was burning from the inside out and was causing her indescribable EXCRUCIATING PAIN! Creams & medication offered no relief. Following a series of doctor visits and multiple hospital stays, she was diagnosed with a rare connected tissue disease called Polymyositis.

 

All of our lives, our beautiful mom has always been vibrant and full of energy! She spent over 37 years as a registered nurse in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) while raising 5 kids with our dad and doing outreach ministry.

 

Currently, mom is receiving treatment at an AMAZING clinic in Tijuana, Mexico, called the Immunity Therapy Center. Over Six weeks of 8 hour days of intense targeted treatment coupled with her projected after care (medications, follow up appointments, therapy, supplements, etc.) costs over $35,000.00. They have a record amount of success in treating cancer patients. Mom is nearing the end of her three-week treatment and showing wonderful results! The doctor recommends she stay at least another 3 weeks so they can continue to give her the targeted treatment she needs.

 

 

Insurance doesn’t pay for holistic treatments, so most of her care has been out of pocket. Over the past four years, mom and dad have poured their retirement funds into her treatments, and as a family, we have pulled together our resources to ensure mom has everything she needs. At this time, we are soliciting our friends and family for support. Another three-week course of treatment will be $35,000. Furthermore, she will also need follow-up care after she leaves the treatment center.

 

We know all things work together for our good because we love God and are called for His purpose. We are standing in great faith that this fiery trial will soon end, and mom will walk in complete healing! We can’t THANK you enough for your generosity and prayers!
