My name is Alicia Vetter and I am Gayle’s coworker.

I have known Gayle and Calvin for about 7 years. Gayle welcomed me on my first day of work. Gayle and Calvin have big hearts, which means they love even BIGGER! They were foster parents until recently after the adoption of their youngest two boys, Movada and Adlai.

Recently, Calvin has been going through some health issues. He had multiple surgeries to take infection out of his foot. Things were looking good. They even closed up the wound with grafts. Friday, July 25th was supposed to be an ordinary day of grabbing some pizza for dinner and going home to relax for the weekend. Calvin didn’t make it home that evening. He had a cardiac episode that he was not able to come back from and passed away.

He didn’t have insurance and Gayle is now going to be picking up the pieces when she can.

I would like to raise some funds to help her lighten that load even if it is just a little bit. My heart goes out to her and Calvin’s family. Having someone pass away is so hard. It doesn’t get any easier as time goes on, it just gets different.
