Hello, my name is Gayla and I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this. I apologize if my story is a little short. My brother doesn’t know I’m doing this and want to keep as much information I can private.

Yesterday, my brother went to the hospital for a simple headache. He has been experiencing dizziness and is having a hard time taking deep breaths. We had to force him to go get antibiotics because we assumed it was some form of Covid. He has been ignoring his symptoms because as a man with three young girls he needs to work every day. My brother works cash jobs and takes up extra work as much as he can he doesn’t have health insurance and always avoids the big hospital bills. After running some blood work they took him in for an MRI. We were completely blindsided when we found out that the type of cancer he has is metastatic. This type of cancer is very dangerous because it can spread to other vital organs. The doctors fear that it may have already reached his bones.osteosarcoma behaves in an aggressive manner, which means it can spread in the bloodstream through the bone and into other places in the body. The most common place for it to spread to is the lungs.

We ask for your prayers and support during this time. It is not like our family to ask for hand outs but these expenses are not small and seem impossible to reach without help from the community. Any donations will go to his medical bills from this surgery.
