Help Gayla Ogelvie Rebuild After Tornado

My sister, Gayla Ogelvie, lived in the Hickory Hills Mobile Homes that got hit by the tornado on Friday, March 14th. I have established this account to help cover costs of a new place to live - for deposits and first month’s rent. Additionally, her vehicle windows have, all but one, blown out and I’m hoping to gather costs to help with that. We are super grateful that she was not physically harmed and she did not lose absolutely everything, like so many people did; however, there is so much glass from the windows and doors broken, everything thrown around, and water coming in through open doors and windows, that there will be a few things she does need and we will have to figure all of that out. Gayla is always one of the first people to see how she can help if she knows someone is in need. She loves people and loves to shine her light for Jesus, every opportunity she can!!

Unfortunately, she did not have renter’s insurance and did not have full coverage car insurance. At this point, we are mainly needing to focus on finding her a new place to live, and cover deposits, first month’s rent, and a few basic necessities that she will need. That is the immediate need.

We are fully aware that there are others in much more serious need than her, as far as needing to fully furnish a whole house, multiple bedrooms, etc. We know others who have lost absolutely every single thing. Our hearts go out to them. We understand this has been a heartbreaking situation for so many.

Any amount will help. If you can donate anything at all, it will go toward vehicle and new apartment or house. Any funds left over will go toward lamps, kitchen necessities, towels, etc.
