One of my closest and dearest friends was assaulted and mugged the other night at a BART station(local public transportation).  The assailant violently took her brand new iPhone X ($1600 value)  which she unfortunately did not have insurance for,  leaving her with an injured arm and no phone for work. 

Due to the trauma and residual pain in her arm, she has not been able to go back to work yet.
