I am starting a Go fund me page to help my sister and her family. My nephew  Gavin was diagnosed with Leukemia this week. It has definitely been a whirlwind of a week. He saw the Hematologist on Monday to discuss some lab work that has been off coupled with strep throat and hip pain, and left the appointment with a new probable diagnosis of ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia).  Tuesday bone marrow biopsy confirmed this, and Wednesday he had a port placed and 2 rounds of chemo. 

With all the appointments, chemo infusions, procedures, and just plain caring for Gavin, it will be difficult/impossible for Alicia and Justin to work. We wanted to try and help them out with meals (Their meal train website is https://mealtrain.com/26e268 if you would like to sign up to make them a meal, or provide a Door dash gift card for them) as well as help them financially so they can focus on our brave little dude and help him heal. 

I know many of you want to help in any way you can, so we thought this might be another helpful tool to show your love and support for them.

Again.... thank you so much for all the love you've given Gav! He is such a trooper. He is so resilient and so strong. When I was starting this page tonight, I asked what I should name the page. Gavin said "How about Gavin is awesome and doing a super awesome job being brave..."  Please help him to keep being awesome at being brave.
