Help Gavin Gotcher Tackle Lymphoma!!

Gavin Gotcher is my 14-year-old grandson and he has been diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B Cell Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  He is inpatient at Medical City Children's Hospital of Dallas.  Yesterday,  he and his parents,  Emmitt (J.R.) and Christina Gotcher,  were given the treatment plan and he began what is intended to be his first of 6 rounds of chemo.  This is much different than my chemo "knowledge" as my Sweet Love will receive chemo CONTINUOUSLY for 5 days.  They plan to release him from the hospital after that for a 2 week rest, only to go back inpatient and do it again for 5 days.  This is to go on until he gets 6 rounds (or weeks) in.  He has a 7-inch X 7-inch mass in his chest cavity pressing on his diaphragm and lungs causing him shortness of breath to the extent that it has pushed his heart over a bit.  His liver is enlarged and he is running intermittent fever as his little body fights this monster invading his body.  He was told he qualifies for the Make-A-Wish program and that has him a bit excited.   Our family is thankful for so many things, and they DO have health insurance, but there are deductibles and co-insurance that have to he paid, not to mention all the other expenses.  With Covid restrictions, he is only allowed one parent there and that's rotten.   His parents were not sure about doing this, but after being advised that folks would like to help and knowing they are all in for a fierce battle and some crazy expenses, they have agreed to the creation of this fund.  I need to make something clear, however, and there is just no "pretty" way to say it.  There is a biological mom that lives in the area, however it is both her and Gavin's choice that she hasn't been in his life in years.  The choice has been made by both that the trend will continue.  That being said, this will be the ONLY fundraising platform for expenses related to Gavin's care.  If you are unable to use this platform, you may contact me, Christina or J.R. for Venmo, PayPal, or other options.
