Help Gavin Rabideaux

Donation protected
His mother Paula Liden-DiDominicis, and his significant other, Megan Whittle rallying up everyone for help for Gavin.

All funds will be going directly to Gavin for medical needs and physical Therapy help.

Gavin was admitted in the hospital on Saturday July 23, 2022. His heart was in Afib, with 2 valves not working properly and enlarged heart. They sent him in for a cardio version on the following Monday with no luck. Two days later he went in for an ablation surgery.

During the procedure, he went into cardiac arrest, which then lead him into the ICU in a medical coma. They then did an MRI and to find out that there was damage to his brain.

We are not certain to the extent of damage thus far. Due to him having pneumonia during this, all things have to wait until it is cleared.

Please share, donate, send prayers, positive thoughts or intentions for Gavin. If you can not donate please share so others can see and hear.

**Update 8/3/22, So far Gavin is off the Ventilator and Breathing on his own. He is still Sedated some and not responding all the time like the Doctors want him. He is very agitated. The pneumonia is lighting up just a bit.

Now after all he’s been through his Heart is back in Afib. Not news we all wanted to hear.

***Update 8/6/22, Gavin is doing very well. He has been put into the step down unit in the ICU. He is waking up but very exhausted. He will respond at times and can put words together but it is still very hard. We are very proud how far Gavin has been doing and improving during this time.

****Update 8/9/22, Gavin is alert and coherent now. He is trying to talk but it is very hard for him to get out what he wants to say. He whispers it out, but it is a very raspy voice. We had conversations with him already but it still very hard to speak. We are happy to see how much he has improved in the last few days. Gavin has also started some physical therapy, like movement of his legs, a little bit of his arms and sitting up in a chair position.

*****Update 8/15/2022 Gavin had his feeding tube removed from his nose and put into his stomach. Gavin had a swallow test and past. He can now eat soft foods and drink. Gavin has also moved out of the ICU on to the cardiac floor. He is still having difficulty moving on his own, but with physical therapy he will return to his regular self.

Gavin has also done a Cardioversion today (8/15/22) and it worked. His heart is back into a regular rhythm.

This is a new step closer to going home.

****** Update 8/23/22 Gavin has officially moved into rehab. He started taking small baby steps. He can sit up in his own and can boost himself up into bed. During rehab he will be working almost all the day and will be in rehab for a few weeks. They will evaluate him in the next 2 weeks and see where he’s at and if he needs it longer or not. Thank you everyone that has donated this far and sending prayers and thoughts. Gavin truly appreciates everyone and will continue to keep fighting and getting stronger. Please keep it coming and send him positive thoughts to keep him going

There is still nothing said about his EEG as of now.

Thank you all for your Donations/Prayers and healing vibes

Greatly Appreciated,
Megan & Paula.
